How can I request to have my FedEx package redirected to be held at a FedEx location for pickup?

 

To redirect your package to be held for pickup at one of our secure FedEx locations or participating retail partners, go to our tracking page and follow these steps:

  1. Enter your tracking number or reference number.
  2. Select Manage Delivery, then Hold at Location.
  3. Click Continue to acknowledge that requesting that your package be held for pickup may change your delivery date. You also have the option to cancel the request by selecting Nevermind.
  4. From the options provided, choose the location where you want your package to be sent. 
  5. Provide your contact info—phone number and/or email—so we can notify you when the package is ready to be picked up.
  6. Review your location selection and recipient contact info and click Submit.
  7. Confirm you request for Hold at Location and click Done.

Can I ship an adult signature required package to someone if they don’t have a driver’s license?

 

Yes, but only if they have another acceptable government-issued ID. The following can be scanned:

  • U.S. passport (FedEx Ground® deliveries only)
  • U.S. state ID
  • U.S. military ID

How do I know what time the package I shipped will be delivered?

 

To get an estimated delivery time, you can use your tracking number, door tag number, or FedEx Office order number to track your package. If you don’t have one of those numbers, you can use any reference number related to your package, or any purchase order number.

After you enter your number in the tracking tool, you’ll see your estimated delivery time with a 4-hour window. If you don’t see an estimated delivery time window, that information may not be available for that particular package.

You can also use your customized tracking dashboard to get delivery details. It’s especially helpful when you need to track multiple packages at the same time.
